Once upon a time in the early 1960’s a young military vet named Fred Ferronato was working as a custom metal and fireplace fabricator and got a call from a friend. That friend happened to be Barney Fezter of Fezter Vineyards. He asked Fred if he could build some tanks for his winery. Fred enlisted the help of a colleague named Charlie Lavell.
